In recognition of MARCH being designated as Brain Injury Awareness Month, our group will review the diversity of programs and services available to survivors of a brain injury and other neurological disorders. Primary focus will center around the services provided within the greater Austin area, but pertinent programs provided within the state will also be addressed. A diversity of program topics will be reviewed including advocacy, accessibility assistance, specific brain injury resources, general disability resources, government sponsored programs, housing related issues, and recreational opportunities.
Participants will be provided general information about each service, eligibility requirements and contact information.
